The course is for learners who work in, or want to work with children in Early Years settings in England only. It gives learners the opportunity to: Work with Children from birth till 5 year and gain knowledge of children aged 5 to 7 years. Demonstrate competence as an Early Years Educator, Child minder or Nursery Nurse, develop knowledge and skills related to the specified job roles in early years education.
Learners must have achieved a Grade C or above in GCSE English and GCSE Mathematics.
You can also do Apprenticeships in Early Year Educator .
Duration of the Course and Delivery: Approx. 8 Months
64 Credit value ,Minimum number of credits that must be achieved at level 3 or above is 61, Number of mandatory credits that must be achieved 46, Number of optional credits that must be achieved 18, Guided learning hours Minimum 331 and Maximum 358.

Advanced learning loan is available for this course from 24+ Loan is payable when you start earning £21,000 or more per year– if you don’t earn that much you never pay it back. Paying back period won’t start until April 2016, Eligibility criteria applies for Advanced Learning Loans.
Learners who have achieved the Pearson Edexcel Level 3 Diploma can progress to the Pearson Edexcel Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children’s Services (England) (QCF)
